I’ve Got Some Apples

Tuesday, June 17th, 2008

Oh dear.! I just realised I haven’t updated here in a few days… okay… two weeks. What the hell have I been up to.?

Well Chili has been here pretty much 24/7 (house sitting much.? hehe) and she has a tendency to hog my pc whilst playing missbimbo and WoW. I knew I shouldn’t have taught her how to play that.

Been very busy over the past two week as well… especially last Friday and my manager’s wedding over at the Manor. What a night.! Straight from work to get changed and ready at Chili’s place, no foam shaving, ouch, and STILL I ended up cooking her dinner. Then as she emerged (a little behind schedule causing our lift to be waiting) from her room looking like a goddess, I hustled her down the steps and into a waiting Astra.

Now I had already started on a couple of glasses of rosé and then preceded to pour the following down my face, a pint, a cognac, THREE bottles of red wine, two more of rosé a glass of Champers and then I ran out of money. I had a bloody good dance to The Killers, Kaiser Chiefs and Oasis (yes we slow danced to Wonderwall and I managed to resist air guitaring all the way through but failed miserably from NOT going “Hobbits” like to the other two, cue much bouncing).

We arrived back about half one, drunk as hell, tired but happy. Tricia looked amazing in her wedding dress and was even more drunk than I was. Then I had to work at 8.30am next day and felt like someone had spent the night balancing my desk on my face. Gareth, thank you for your sympathy, Lol.!

I will return with a rant or two in a short while, tomorrow night perhaps, as it is almost supper time, bath time, bed time (4am sleeping is not easy when you are working at 8am)… see you all soon…

Well some of you, the rest of you can just sod off and party. Meh.! Hehe.

Missile Away, Lovely, Lovely.

Well after a little work, myself and Chili are now a couple. I am now the happiest and luckiest guy in the world. Hurrah :D .

Half day for me on this rather overcast Tuesday. Borrowed a couple of hours off for last Friday to recover from the meal at Flute de Paris and took the rest today due to delivery issues, lol. I have been shopping too and as I am planning a meal for next week out of the house I need to do some preparation and experimentation before subjecting the other half’s family to my cooking.

“uhuhuhuhhuhuh, How’s about THAT then… now, here we go now with a letter, oh yes, from Fluffy Bunny of Middlcestershire.”

“Dear Jim…

Please explain to me why a protest was recently held in Hyde Park by the Emos of Britain, protesting against the article recently published in the Daily Mail blaming teenage suicide on My Chemical Romance.

Yours With Massive Cigars…

Fluffy Bunny.

Ps The fiver is in the envelope.

Yes it is true. I haven’t made that one up. Emos from across the country took part in the biggest gathering of people dressed in black since Princess Diana was paraded around London in a large lead box. They were all a little annoyed at the newspaper’s stance on the suicide of a 13 year old girl who really liked My Chemical Romance. As is well known, the Daily Mail is THE paper for making mountains out of molehills and, like the Americans, blaming everything but the correct people for society (Re the yanks blaming Marilyn Manson for mass gun killings in schools rather than the gun culture present in their country).

So lots of Emos hit Hyde Park hoping to March to the Daily Mail offices but weren’t allowed because of the Police (very unrock and roll allowing the Police to control them of course). Also a number of goths arrived, targetting a protest at the Emos for being, well, Emos and a few anonymous people wandered up protesting at people wearing black, etc.

So why did they do it.? Well to preserve their views I suppose, but why bother protesting against a newspaper ESPECIALLY the Daily Mail, a taboid that is utterly convinced that Princess Diana was murdered by the Royal Family. Pointless. Totally pointless.

Funnily enough it did cause a bit of a rumpus just before the release of the new MCR album. Hmmm, pay offs perhaps.? Surely not.!
