Later Than Usual

Sunday, July 8th, 2007

I noticed earlier (whilst deleting pointless SPAM toss from my earlier comments, which is something I will have to get Hwang to see if he can stop) that I have recently passed FIVE HUNDRED posts on this blog.! Aren’t I a lucky bunny.!?!

And so The Ham came third. Luckily for him Massa’s fast Ferrari stalled just before the start making sure he would get at least third, but his pace was up to a second or two a lap off the flying Alonso and Kimi ahead. Oh well. Still eight races to go.! Well done pal.

Now I hope we all enjoyed last night. I did, although the end of the evening was a little strange. Trying to calm down one of my crying ex’s and then having to hold the other one up after she did a quick impression of the world’s biggest vomit machines which can’t take it’s drink. Makes a nice change for me not to be ill or caught up in all the drama. Hoorah.!

My new PC is still going strong, but I am going to have to invest in a serial cable or a USB 2.0 card for my old comp to move all my porn, ahem sorry I mean, files to my new one. I did have a USB card but for some bizarre reason although it worked perfectly it blocked my computer from running 3D graphics so I couldn’t play WoW or any games at all that used 3DFX.! Weird.

Gives me something else to do I suppose.!!!

So Far So Good…

Saturday, July 7th, 2007

He did it.!!! With a lap time of 1.19:997 he beat Kimi into second place and grabbed pole at the last possible chance. Lewis, my boy, you are a star in the making.

I do hope for a win tomorrow but it is unlikely due to various things, luck being a major part of it.

Sadly British F1 drivers don’t always get a lot of luck in the sport. Sounds like a bizarre thing to say but it is rather true. Think back to people like Mansell and Hill. If Mansell hadn’t had his rear tyre blow in 1986 then HE would have been a two times champion and Prost only twice. Ditto the following year when he had to miss out on ANOTHER title due to a huge crash in practice against Piquet and the Brazilian took his third and final title. In 1991 he lost out to Senna in Japan (again) and finally went on to win in 1992 when it was Senna who started getting car problems in the Maclaren instead of Mansell’s Williams.

Then think onto ole Damon. If it hadn’t been for that bloody German driving into him in 1994 he would have been champion twice not once. Ok it only took Hill from 1992 (when he drove the supreme awful and underpowered Brabham/Judd BT60) until 1996 to win his championship (with wins in 1993, his first in the competitive Williams which he COULD have won the British GP in but for an engine failure). Mansell first drove in an F1 car in 1980 (for Lotus in the 81B, a car that, due to a fuel leak, left him with chemical burns on his bum cheeks) and took until 1985 and the European GP in Brands Hatch (now driving a Williams) for his first win. His classic victory in the 1987 season against Piquet in an identical Williams was undeniably one of his greatest races ever. Having had to make a pit stop to replace a punture he was 30 seconds behind Piquet with 30 laps to go. He pulled the turbo boost to full and somehow managed to not only catch Piquet but overtook him into Stowe, winning the race and leaving the crowd roaring his name. On the run down lap his engine actually melted down due to the high boost levels.

So lets all keep our fingers crossed for tomorrow. The Ham can do it. But this is a Ferrari circuit, the same as France was, and overtaking is difficult. Maybe if Alonso can tangle two Ferraris… hmmmm. Hehehe.

I Had A Dream…

Monday, July 2nd, 2007

I had a dream last night that caused me to feel stuff I don’t like feeling.

This isn’t to anyone on here… as far as I know, but I have to say it…

“I dreamt of you, whoever you are. You were petite, brunette and a lively girl. Maybe you are someone I once met or someone I used to know but I am worried about you.

When that car hit you my brain must have locked the feelings into my concious side because all day I have been feeling the pain of seeing someone hurt. This all sounds so bizarre because it was all a figment of my imagination but even so, if you do exist I hope you are ok.

I can’t predict the future but the number of times I have dreamt about someone I didn’t recognise and THEN met them in real life would make you wonder about my credibility, if I hadn’t kept a dream diary back in my teens which has all the dates to prove I am not totally insane.

I remember saying ‘I love you’ and then you smiled and walked away.

Why must some dreams be so painful, despite my callous disregard for other people who I don’t know, you touched a nerve.

You were real.

I hope you are ok.”

Midsummer Night’s Wet Dream

Sunday, July 1st, 2007

Well here we are, here we are, here we are again. One day after the deadline for not being able to light up a small white and yellow object in a public place and I am not doing too badly. Think it is daft really, it is awfully difficult to light a Cadbury’s Cream Egg and I don’t tend to smoke them outside of my own home anyway.

Will it improve everyone’s health though.? Probably, but then again how many people will stop smoking now… leaving a BIG hole in the coffers of Gordon “Scottish Cunt” Brown’s new Government. I am personally tempted to give up specifically to deprive the ugly bugger of any more of my money (fucker taxed me 33% on my Bonus this week £200 in tax on £700.!!!!). Anus.

But it has been a good weekend out. I thoroughly enjoyed last night despite certain people being stupid. Did manage to get hold of a big rubber glove with an attached Aftershock glass.! Caught up with a few old faces including TWO Marks (Ah, Mark is back from Hospital, with a wheel chair but definately getting better slowly… more best wishes from all of us mate).!!!

Hwang looked delightful in his Marks and Spencer’s coat… but he does suck at space invaders, don’t you dude.? Hehehe.

So finally they have killed off the French Grand Prix from Magny-Cours. Sad as it is for any circuit and, in this case, country to lose a GP, I am rather happy it is moving. The Magny-Cours track is very sterile and bland with few overtaking opportunities and very little thinking having gone into how F1 cars actually work aerodynamically. Thankfully the Imola circuit has also lost it’s race meaning two of the tightest and most boring tracks (well Imola was fine until they remodelled after 1994’s deaths) have been consigned to the past. Maybe the Paul Ricard circuit in France can be brought back into use. It killed a couple of drivers but then again Monza has killed more than any and ever year it still hosts a race.

Oh and on the same subject, Massa lost out to Kimi, Lewis a record eighth podium.! Alonso languishing in seventh and I am happy with that.

Apple’s new iPhone has caused a mass frenzy in the USA. Probably because the Yanks are too fucking stupid to see what a piece of crap the damn thing is. The one unsurprising thing I read about the device is that it can only be installed with software designed by Apple. Oooooh did you see THAT coming.???

Right I am off out tonight for a chinese meal with Lemony. Will she actually eat the duck or pretend it is a form of drug we shall see. This meal is payment for dyeing her hair black again. Maybe next time I shall dye her pink too. Hehehe.

Did anyone see where I left my Jeep.? Was using it to store some petrol for a friend. Keeps disappearing.!
